What is the first thing you notice about people? Teeth, hands and eyes. It’s just natural for me to zone in on the smile and therefore the teeth. Hands, good expressive hands, say so much about a person. And I can’t resist a sparkly pair of eyes.
What song always makes you happy when you hear it? Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison. I’m smiling now just thinking of it.
What fashion trend do you just not get? Capri pants. Why in the world do I intentionally want to buy pants that are too short?

Capris that are mid calf I like…the ones around ankle length? Not so much.
I’m with Janet – the mid-calf capri pants I like (with kitten heels). They’re a replacement for shorts for “mature” women like me!
Ooooh, Van Morrison. My favorite.
I think those are great first things to notice. I’m with you on the smile and the eyes. Well, and the hands, too. Okay, all three. You win.
No judgements please!! The music that always makes me smile is anything by ABBA. Now, I said no judgements!!!!!
Hi Lisa,
I have been reading your posts. It has been a while but I still remembered that you have a talent when it comes to photography.
The Italian Chicken sounds delicious. The ingredients go perfectly with chicken.
I want to see the movie Julia/Julie. I went to Julie’s website-http://juliepowell.blogspot.com/- and wasn’t too impressed with her. But, I did love Julia Child and can’t wait to see Meryl Streep as Julia.
Hugs
Hey, did you know that song was written about me ?
LOL
Great song choice. I love Van the Man.
Hands tell alot about a person…like an unspoken story.
My song of happiness is “Super Trouper”….I’m tapping my foot now…smile on my face!
And I just don’t get tube tops…not at all.
Love that song….I sing it to Livi!
I am so short that capri pants normally fit me….LOL. Otherwise I have to hem regular pants.
1 – eyes then body (tells me a lot of lifestyle)
2 – What a wonderful World
3 – fashion? Must ask my daughter
(In fact she is moving to Germany tomorrow. It means both my two youngest “kids” have emigrated.)
Lisa, how are you these days?
Ha, ha – Capri pants. I guess they are unflattering to anyone other than Audrey Hepburn, and hers weren’t exactly Capris in our contemporary sense. I love Van Morrison. I often listen to him in my car. My favorite thing of his is, oddly, an interpretation of “She Moves Through the Fair” on a Chieftains CD. Happy Labor Day!
