Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Are you wearing green today? I’ll admit it, I am. I don’t want to get pinched! But I can’t say I go crazy about the day either. I don’t go out drinking green beer and eating corned beef and cabbage. Nor did I attend the parade of the dyeing of the canal green today. I think it’s a little tough on a few people I know– having St. Patrick’s Day during Holy Week. Quite the conflict.
I’ll admit it, I LOVE St. Patrick’s Day. I don’t go too crazy either, but I love this holiday. But I’m totally thrown off by the fact that St. Patty’s and Easter are in the same week this year! I love Easter too, so I’ve just been buying green Easter things to compromise.

I wish my little redneck town would die the creek green and have a St. Patrick’s Day parade. I think that would be fun.

I did wear a green blouse today! No green beer for me, though.
Our parade was yesterday. I saw a bit of it on TV.
The local pubs have line-ups right now. Crazy!
Was that shirt originally green?? Some reason I remember red, like a cranberry red.
Totally forgot the green, even my aerobic instructor wore green!
I don’t own much green, but I do enjoy the corned beef and cabbage once a year. Had a nice Pinot, though, instead of the green beer.
